Welcome to Villa de Paz Golf Club

Voted the best, inexpensive 18 holes in the "Valley of the Sun" as featured by the Arizona Republic newspaper, Villa de Paz Golf Club is Arizona`s best golfing value. The course was built in the early 1970`s and is one of the oldest 18-hole facilities on the west side of Phoenix. A traditional, parkland-style layout, Villa de Paz is a challenge to even the most experienced players. It is also easy enough that the novice and beginning golfer will also have an enjoyable expereince.

Remodeled in the fall of 2002, the 6,700 yard, par-72 layout features a variety of challenges with water coming into play on 10 of the 18 holes. It`s the perfect choice to play in the summer because of the abundant shade thanks to the mature trees that line many of the fairways.

Birdies and eagles are there to be made, but plenty of risk is at hand. Shot making is at its premium on holes such as Number 4, a 450-yard par 5, that doglegs severely to the right. Then there are holes 7,8 and 15, all par 4s that are reachable from the tee for the long hitters. The finishing hole is a spectactular 470 yard, par 4 from the back tee, that doglegs to the right. The second shot must carry over a lake to a three-tiered green. Number 18 is a hole that one soon won`t forget.

Working on your game is easy at Villa de Paz Golf Club with our convenient, quiet practice facility. The driving range helps you get that warm-up swing perfected by utilizing our large, two-tiered hitting areas. Our target areas are highligted at various yardages to help you gauge your shot distance and wind play for that days round.

A designated teaching area is available for individual and group lessons taught by one of our PGA professionals that are on staff.

What is Bio Tech Nutrients?

As a natural fertilizer BTN is environmentally beneficial to our golf course. Not only is BTN good for growing grass, it is good for community. Because it contains no chemicals, BTN uses natural ingredients to provide proper amounts of nutrients to allow roots to dig down deeper into the soil and extract more water from the ground.

Even better, BTN allows us to cut down our water usage at the golf course. It helps keep moisture near the roots of the grass for longer periods of time. It also makes aerating the greens unnecessary.

So BTN is a winner for everyone: For our golf course, for our golfers and for the environment.
